The work in progress at the studio right now: a system where customers design their own print, layer by layer, and orders flow straight into production.
Talk to any print shop and you hear the same story. A customer finds a product, messages the admin, sends a reference, waits for the file to be checked, asks for revisions, waits for a price, pays — and only then does production start. Eight steps, most of them waiting.
Why layers?
Every custom print is really a stack: a product template, a background, an image, a logo and text. Treating each one as its own layer lets customers change one thing without breaking the rest — and lets the shop validate the file before it ever reaches a printer.
Four modules for customers
- Account — register, log in, manage a profile.
- Product — browse the catalog, search, see details.
- Design — upload, customise each layer, preview live.
- Transaction — checkout, pay, track the order.
A tidy flow behind the scenes
Inside the shop, every order follows the same seven steps: incoming order, payment check, design validation, production queue, printing, quality check, shipping. Nothing gets lost in a chat thread.
The goal is simple: less waiting for the customer, less chasing for the admin.
The system is being built now. A live demo will be linked on the project page as soon as it is ready.
